Penetrant Testing

CONTROREUPE is a leader in penetrant testing for several industries. We have several customers’ approval and are PRI NADCAP accredited. CONTROREUPE runs 2 advanced liquid penetrant inspection lines: one immersion-based, the other using electrostatic spraying, operated by highly qualified personnel, certified to different COFRAC levels. 

Immersion Liquid Penetrant Inspection:

  • Capacity: 600 mm x 600 mm
  • Sensitivity levels: S2, S3, S4

Electrostatic Spray Penetrant Inspection:

  • Capacity: 2500 mm x 3500 mm
  • Sensitivity levels: S2, S4

Visual and Dimensional Control

Visual and dimensional inspections are carried out by experienced inspectors. They are equipped with a comprehensive range of measurement tools, allowing them to perform inspections with precision tailored to each client’s specific requirements. 

Among the available equipment, CONTROREUPE uses:

Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)

CONTROREUPE is a recognized expert in 3D dimensional inspection. The company operates 4 CMMs from Hexagon Group (Leitz, DEA, etc.), as well as one VISIO contactless measurement system. All systems are powered by QUINDOS and PC-DMIS software.
Measurement capacities: up to 3500 x 1500 x 1000 mm, including parts over 1 T.
Equipment includes: 4th measuring axis. 

CONTROREUPE provides a full range of services, from basic dimensional checks to development of complete measurement programs.

In-Lab Tools Calibration Services

Using the latest-generation equipment, CONTROREUPE offers a comprehensive range of metrology, calibration, and inspection services. 

In-Lab Services: 

  • Full calibration and inspection services for measuring instruments. 
  • Metrology expertise tailored to each client’s needs. 
  • All machines and reference standards are traceable to the COFRAC calibration chain ensuring accurate and reliable periodic checks. 
  • Periodic verification of various tools including gage blocks, smooth and threaded plug gages, ring gages, dial indicators, calipers, depth gages, micrometers, etc. 

On-Site Tools Calibration Services

Our tool calibration services are also available on-site. These solutions include on-site measurement and verification for profile projectors, height gages, surface plates, balances, hardness testers, etc. 

Your instruments can be picked up and returned, if needed, through a dedicated service. 

Optionally, we manage digital calibration intervals across your entire equipment inventory. All instruments and reference standards are traceable to national standards. A full traceability report is available upon request. The flexibility of our internal organizational structure allows us to meet specific customer requirements, including on-site interventions when needed. 

CONTROREUPE is accredited in accordance with COFRAC 17025 dimensional. 

Fitting/Grinding

After machining, CONTROREUPE’s teams master the adjustment and finishing of parts, as on this project, where our services include Deburring (cosmetic finishes), Industrial washing, CMM, Dimensional control, and Delivery to customer.

  • Controreupe's Collaboration with Safran Transmissions Systems to Meet Rolls-Royce Deadlines

    Safran Transmissions Systems was one year behind on the delivery of its housings to Rolls-Royce. They reached out to Controreupe, and thanks to our collaboration, we helped them get back on schedule within 6 months (we produced up to 11 housings per week, 5 times more than the previous production rythm). Safran strongly recognized Controreupe’s contribution in achieving their requirements for Rolls-Royce.

    Acquisition of 1 penetrant testing line by immersion and beginning of business relationship with Bretigny Rectification (now Mach Aero) and GMT (now Kep Technology).

  14. Receipt of a DEA 3D measuring machine (2000x1500 mm)

  15. Creation and launch of the business by 3 partners, starting with a single client, Renault F1 (initially only dimensional and visual inspection)
