During the launch phase, several vehicles exiting the assembly lines were showing defects (geometrical, non-conform equipments, failures, supply ruptures...) that required one or more technical rework operations:
- Upholstery: interior and exterior
- Mechanical repairs
- Electricity: diagnosis & repairs, update
- Openings adjustment
- Road tests
- Vehicles flow management
OBJECTIVES
- Bring all vehicles in the factory fleet back into compliance
- Perform reworks with the highest quality/delay commitment to free up the maximum number of vehicles.
- Rework of 7500 vehicles
TASKS
- Set up a dedicated “Rework Set”
- Management of the Vehicle Entry/Exit flow
- Reworks coordination
- Daily reports dedicated to reworked and/or released vehicles
