Description

Capacity Assessment Tool is STELLANTIS standard defined in CAT procedure for measuring and documenting Production capacity during Run&Rate, in development phase and during serial life in the event of change in process/ equipment and/or location.

Capacity Assessment is a STELLANTIS requirement through APQP PPAP process, linked with RMP (Risk Mitigation Plan).

  • Understand all the requirements and characteristics of the Capacity Assessment Tool (CAT) process.
  • Know how to get all information needed to assess production capacity within your organizations (Run@Rate measurement activities).
  • Know how to carry out the capacity assessment at APQP Phase 1
  • Know how to carry out capacity assessment at APQP Phases 3, 4 et 5 (CAT1/2/3)
  • Know how to manage the Risk Mitigation Run Plan (RMR deliverable)
  • Ensure appropriate requirements and deliverables are recorded in the APQP PPAP process concerning CAT submission.

This training is aimed at all people who have are part of a development project with STELLANTIS:

  • Project managers
  • Process / Industrialization / Production managers and engineers
  • Quality managers and engineers

The pedagogy is based on activities in sub-groups with exercises (including CTF – technical and functional characteristics) and role-playing (preparation of a CAT aligned to APQP / PPAP phases based on a case study file that is completed as the course progresses).

The pedagogy links up with the real-life context of each participant through a construction activity around the personal progress plan.

The mandatory and recommended forms as well as examples for each deliverable are presented in the training module.
