Since its creation in 1997, TRIGO has been committed to a recruitment and management policy that encourages diversity and eliminates all forms of discrimination.
Applied throughout Western Europe (WEMEA), our policy is supported by our employees and in line with our values of Excellence, Initiative, Customer Focus and Global Team Spirit.
This policy applies not only internally but externally to all the individuals we work with.
During the European Disability Employment Week 2019 (EDEW), we wanted to take stock of our commitment to diversity and especially to people with disabilities. We present 8
common actions we apply to all our subsidiaries:
We guarantee confidentiality for those with disabilities.
2. DEDICATED ORGANIZATION
Depending on the country, managers, HR or referees in the regions, we have conducted internal trainings to provide information and follow-up for employees with disabilities. These references are intended to answer the various questions raised by employees with disabilities and to assist in the implementation of measures to improve the work environment.
3. ACCOMPANYING - FOLLOW UP
In addition to the establishment of an internal initiative, we also offer external, personal and confidential support in the administrative process regarding people with disabilities, thanks to the help of dedicated national organizations.
4. ADAPTATION - ADJUSTMENT
We consider any request for accommodation to the specific needs of our employees with disabilities. This may apply to the organization of the workplace, the job, or working hours, all in consultation with the national institutions specific to each country. The aim is to enable employees to do their best work without the impact of their conditions.
5. AWARENESS AND COMMUNICATION
We regularly communicate about this topic in order to strengthen the mobilization and openness of our organization. This communication involves several actions throughout the year: broadcasting of a Disability Charter, organization of events, workshops, conferences led by dedicated institutions, and more.
6. FAIR TRADE ACTIONS
In addition to the various awareness-raising and communication activities, we are committed to transforming our employees into real players and ambassadors of diversity within the company. We participate as much as possible in solidarity events and provide financial support to various associations fighting against discrimination through national awareness actions.
TRIGO is committed to open all its positions to those with disabilities. All applications are examined equally. We are also committed to develop our network of dedicated recruitment partners and to participate as much as possible in events dedicated to the recruitment of people with disabilities.
When we outsource, we make maximum use of our network of partners committed to diversity or companies hiring only people with disabilities. They may be temporary work agencies, printers, safety equipment suppliers, and more.
