This acquisition, which amount is not disclosed, follows a partnership that started several months ago between the two companies, a plan of integration has immediately been launched and the two are working to realise the immense potential of this combination as soon as possible.

Founded in 2016, SCORTEX is a "deep tech" start-up offering cutting-edge technology in the field of machine vision for the manufacturing industry. The excellence of its technology has enabled it to address the most demanding European automotive, luxury and aerospace markets.

The start-up has developed an industrial platform for the creation of quality control stations on production lines. The core of this platform is a deep learning technology and an infrastructure to manage and consume large amounts of data for quality control. The deep learning algorithms developed by SCORTEX are capable of learning and detecting defects on parts in a production flow.

In addition to automating inspection, the solution generates real-time data and statistics on production quality. It is therefore a complete and powerful tool for operational teams.

TRIGO has taken a new step in its development by acquiring this Paris-based start-up. The services group, which operates in the automotive, aerospace, defense, rail and heavy transport sectors, and which is hiring hundreds of technicians and engineers in 2022, is taking an important step in its new strategic plan to 2025.

This plan aims to consolidate the global leadership of its inspection and supply chain activities, to accelerate its diversification into the aerospace, defense, rail and heavy transportation sectors, to strengthen its consulting activities with major manufacturers and equipment suppliers, and to innovate in technological solutions. In terms of innovation, TRIGO will rely on developments in the fields of artificial intelligence, data mining, automation and augmented reality.

For Aymeric de Pontbriand, founder and CEO of SCORTEX, this integration within the TRIGO group is promising. He said: "With TRIGO on board, we gain the ability to scale our technologies globally. I am proud that SCORTEX is now part of the TRIGO family, we share a common vision of the developments and needs of the industry of tomorrow. With our solutions and technology, our ambition is to be a key player in industry 4.0 worldwide. We will accelerate our strategy of digitising quality management, which enables a better use of resources by our manufacturers."

According to Matthieu Rambaud, CEO of the TRIGO Group, this acquisition is a logical yet significant step in the group's development process. He said: "I am very pleased to welcome the SCORTEX team to TRIGO. The quality of their technological solutions, their capacity for innovation and their entrepreneurial spirit fit perfectly with our vision of the market and our corporate culture. With this merger, we are combining complementary strengths. Together, we will generate significant development synergies to help the industry meet tomorrow's challenges by improving its performance and profitability with innovative solutions.

TRIGO will provide its sales network, with a strong international presence, its operational teams and its financing capacity. For its part, SCORTEX brings a proven and recognised capacity for innovation in artificial intelligence and automated vision.
