Pre-shipment / Source inspection
Pre-shipment (automotive), Source (aerospace) inspection is a 100% or sample based inspection procedure conducted at the supplier’s premises or at some point in the supply chain (warehouse, port…) prior shipping the lot to the customer.
The inspection of outgoing parts is inevitable to ensure a smooth production process for the customer, to meet specific requirements and to maintain good reputation.
