  • The factory is complaining about manufacturing difficulties with “badly designed” products and processes, and you’re looking for a way to remedy the situation.
  • Now you want to act at the root by integrating the principles of Lean into your approach to the design, development and industrialization of your new products.
  • You want to strengthen the synergy between your development and production teams.
  • You want to implement optimal management methods and organization in your company to develop your industrial performance and better meet your customers’ requirements in terms of quality, cost and lead times.

Duration : 2 to 4 days, based on the scope defined during on-site preparation (1 day).

  • Achieve a rapid 20% increase in productivity, 30% space saving and an 80% reduction in work in progress.
  • Understand and apply the lean manufacturing principles in your company.
  • Take part in the complete on-site execution of a project: observation, analysis, redesign, implementation and measurement of results.
  • General Managers.
  • Operational Management Teams.
  • Continuous Improvement Managers.

On-site preparation (1 day) is necessary in order to:

  • understand the industrial and social context,
  • define the objectives of the Lean project,
  • select/validate the scope of the project (linked to a VSM or not),
  • define the performance data for the existing production process to be collected prior to the training,
  • define the project organisation.

The training programme focuses on:

  • Introduction to the main concepts of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Immediate and practical application in the field.
  • Observation and measurement of existing practices.
  • Analysis of processes and personnel and product flows.
  • Redesign and reorganisation.
  • Immediate implementation by trainees.
  • Restarting production and measuring results.

This type of active teaching method, which is resolutely focused on DO IT (construction site), requires long days and appropriate work clothing.

Validation by the trainer of the ability to apply the principles and tools learned through practical exercises.

Participant file with presentations delivered during the course and exercise materials. Training materials in digital format are made available to trainees a few days before the course.
