Richard Else appointed Head of TRIGO UK

Solihull, June 1st - TRIGO reshuffles UK leadership team as the company steps up a gear in its quest to provide leading emobility services.
TRIGO has appointed Richard Else as its Managing Director of UK Operations, in a move that will enable newly appointed Global Director for Turnaround Services, Neil Endley, to further commit to leading the company’s eMobility Strategic Global Development Steering Group.

Richard Else TRIGO UKRichard, whose previous role within TRIGO was the Operations Director for UK Turnaround Services, will now report directly into the head of WEMEA for TRIGO Group and will be responsible for all UK operations.
Richard joined TRIGO UK in February last year having previously served Jaguar Land Rover for 28 years and where he was Plant Operations Director, before joining McLaren Automotive, where he held the position of Executive Director of Manufacturing.

Commenting on the appointment, Neil said: “Richard is hugely respected throughout the automotive industry as well as other manufacturing sectors. Taking over our national leadership role is a great challenge and one I’m wholly confident he will savour. Richard has world class leadership capabilities and a high pedigree of experience throughout the manufacturing arena which is evident from his career path to date. I’m confident Richard will lead the UK team to become the service provider of choice within the UK while supporting our Global Turnaround Services value stream.  Crucially, the move will enable me to fully focus on my new global role as we step up a gear in our support of international production needs along with dedicating more time towards our programme of support as the production of electrified vehicles increases.”

Richard said: “It’s going to be a demanding position but one I will relish given the fresh challenges our UK customers face post pandemic as the markets recover. This, coupled with the seismic shift the automotive industry has taken towards electrification, will mean as a service provider we have to ensure we are offering benchmark services which work in synergy with customer requirements.”

Neil added: “In January, I was only too pleased to accept the global challenge of delivering our ‘Turnaround’ services internationally. That role since been broadened into chairing our international steering group solely dedicated to provide support, services and expertise to the vehicle electrification arena.  With Richard now heading up TRIGO’s UK Operation, this will allow me to fulfil these exciting new challenges for the Group.
