Learn by doing: After explaining the key principles, the participants work on a real project on-site. They identify and assess the current situation, then develop, deploy and optimize solutions to achieve the objectives set at the start of the course. The work is divided and carried out in small groups, with regular sharing and validation of the outputs.

The ability to apply the concepts and tools taught through practical exercises is validated by the trainer.

  1. THEORETICAL OVERVIEW:
    a.   TPM principles and issues.
    b.   Introduction to tools and practices.
    c.   Presentation of the application area(s).
  2. PRACTICE:
    a.   Cleaning.
    b.   Identifying and treating the causes of soiling and deterioration (the 5 why method).
    c.   Improving access and cleaning conditions.
    d.   TRS data analysis.
    e.   Search for the first causes of malfunction.
    f.    Establishing temporary cleaning/inspection standards.
    g.   Visual management.
    h.   Identification of the root causes of production losses (5M method).
    i.    Simulation and implementation of solutions.
    j.    Improvement of preventive and 1st level maintenance solutions.
    k.   Finalization of standards.
    l.    Operators training.
    m.  Roles and responsibilities defined for each player (operator, supervisor, maintenance, …).
    n.   Final site inspection.
    o.   KAIZEN report.
    p.   Results presented to the management.
