Dr. Helmut Leube joins TRIGO’s supervisory board

29 January 2018, Paris, FR – TRIGO Group announces the appointment of Dr. Helmut Leube as a member of its Supervisory Board, as of January 2018.

Dr. Helmut Leube has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. He obtained his doctoral degree in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen University in Germany, where he served for a few years as a Chief Engineer at the Gear and Transmission Technology Department.

In 1987, he joined BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke AG) for a successful 17 year career, holding several senior leadership positions in production, logistics and production planning, including President of BMW Manufacturing Co (Spartanburg, USA), Vice President of the Munich Plant Operations and Vice President of BMW Group Logistics and Production Integration.

Dr. Leube also served as Chief Operations Officer of Webasto AG Fahrzeugtechnik, a global supplier of roof systems and electromobility solutions for the automotive industry.

Between 2008 and 2016, Dr. Leube was Chief Executive Officer of Deutz AG, a leading German provider of diesel and gas engines for industrial, agricultural and commercial vehicle applications. 

Dr. Leube’s extensive experience in automotive and heavy transportation will provide the Board with strong strategic, technological and industrial expertise.
