Sustainable Quality Management: Our ESG Approach

As a global quality services provider, we are in a position to help address global environmental and social challenges, and to support opportunities for economic growth within local communities. We are committed to implementing sustainability wherever we operate and into every layer of our operations, from supplier assessments to client engagements. We aim to be a catalyst for positive transformation across industries.

Member of the UN Global Compact

As a committed member of the United Nations Global Compact since April 2024, we are dedicated to ten universal principles covering human rights, labor, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.

Our global sustainability efforts are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those addressing climate action, responsible consumption, well-being, and gender equality.

To support these ambitions, we regularly implement employee awareness programs, strengthen our sourcing practices toward more responsible procurement, transform our processes through digitalization, and launch targeted initiatives and sponsorships.

Environmental Stewardship

At TRIGO, our environmental strategy centers on climate action and a circular economy with a strong focus on controlling our consumption, both in terms of consumables and energy use.

  • Sustainable Practices:  Our Group is committed to reducing its environmental impact through digitalization and responsible resource management. Paper use in France dropped by 55% (10 to 4.5 tons) between 2017 and 2024, while protective glove consumption fell by 48% without compromising safety. We are transitioning to electric vehicles and forklifts, increasing the use of refurbished phones and sustainable products. In Spain, CO₂ emissions per vehicle decreased by 19% from 2019 to 2024.
  • Impact Reduction: We provide on-site rework solutions that help prevent the scrapping of parts, thereby avoiding the need to produce and ship replacements. Our service offering and global geographical footprint also help reduce the need for supplier representatives to travel, enabling more efficient local management of non-quality events.
  • 2024 Key Figures:
    • 46,330 tons of CO emitted by the TRIGO Group in 2024, with 93% from Scope 3 emissions, primarily employee commuting and purchased goods/services.
    • 40% of our total emissions relate to employee commuting.
    • 27% of our total emissions relate to purchased goods and services.
    • 97 million parts reworked thanks to our activities, +10% vs 2023.
    • 75,250 tons of CO emissions avoided, exceeding our own footprint.
    • 28,900 tons more avoided than the CO emissions TRIGO generated.

Social Responsibility

We place our workforce at the heart of our ESG strategy, recognizing the importance of safety, engagement, and gender equality as outlined in our Social Policy:

  • Health & Safety: We take every reasonable precaution to protect our employees from injury, hazards, and disease with the aim to provide a safe and healthy work environment. We implement proactive risk mitigation strategies as per our Integrated Management System and promote a safety culture mainly through:
    • onboarding and ongoing training programs
    • rolling out safeguards against accidents and injuries through a risk-based approach
    • reporting and managing workplace accidents
    • checking safety basics daily and through yearly quality audits
  • Employee Engagement: Well-being at work is also a key element of our policy, as the services we provide depend first and foremost on our people. Our annual employee engagement survey helps us improve the general satisfaction to work for TRIGO.
  • Gender Equity & Inclusion:  Women represent 40% of our permanent employees and 27% of managers. This is above industry standards (28% in France), though the sector remains male-dominated. At TRIGO, gender parity has become a key ESG priority through our “EmpowHer” program. This initiative encourages young girls to pursue careers in engineering and technical fields. Communication campaigns also highlight career development opportunities within the Group and fight against sexism at work.  Finally, we support disability inclusion in France, Hungary, and Spain, with a Spanish special employment center and key initiatives encouraging the recruitment of this population.

Governance Excellence

TRIGO’s governance framework ensures ethical conduct, compliance, and transparency:

  • Our Code of Conduct: sets ethical and compliance standards for all. We empower employees to act with integrity, speak up without fear of retaliation, and uphold legal, safe business practices. Supported by dedicated e-learning modules, it reflects our commitment to doing what’s right.
  • Supplier Management: In 2024, TRIGO launched a Supplier Code of Conduct, to ensure integrity, human rights, and environmental responsibility across its supply chain. Supported by a Sustainable Purchasing Policy it defines risk management, training, and sourcing guidelines.
  • Information Security: TRIGO safeguards business continuity and the security of all collected, processed, and shared information. We comply with legal and stakeholder requirements through our Information Security Policy, ensuring availability, integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive data.
