Description

  • Internal audits (“1st party”) and supplier audits (“2nd party”) are part of the company’s Continuous Improvement process. They must be “profitable”, i.e., they should enable you to identify ways of improving the performance of each of your company’s processes or those of your suppliers.
  • Auditors shall maintain their skills, with the requirements of IATF 16949, including the Sanctioned Interpretations (SI), which are regularly reviewed.
  • Thorough preparation, based on good risk identification practices, is required to ensure that the audit is risk oriented.
  • Finally, any discrepancies must be correctly identified. This will encourage those involved to make improvements.
  • Increase knowledge of IATF requirements, particularly Sanctioned Interpretations (SI).
  • Be able to perform an audit of SI.
  • Reinforcing practices for preparing for and identifying risks.
  • Improve audit non-conformity wording

Auditors who have successfully completed an initial auditor course and have audited internally or at supplier sites and want to upgrade their skills or learn best practice, for example in the following situations:
