Description

  • The aviation regulatory environment is structured around several regulations, to ensure that the aviation industry operates safely, efficiently and sustainablyGlobal supervisory authorities are responsible for monitoring compliance. 
  • The aviation sector is constantly evolving, with regulations being updated regularly to incorporate new technologies and respond to environmental challenges, for example. 
  • Therefore, awareness of aviation regulations is a regulatory requirement to ensure safety, compliance, quality, reputation and innovation in the sector. 
  • Discover the various international regulations governing the aviation sector according to the OACI, in particular PART21J, PART21G, and PART145. 
  • Understand how aviation activities are monitored throughout the life cycle of an aircraft, from design to dismantling. 
  • Understand how supervisory authorities are organised around the world. 
  • Discover the main requirements of aviation regulations. 
  • Understand the obligations and privileges associated with certification and regulation. 
  • Anyone wishing to discover the principles of regulatory requirements in the aeronautical sector 

The course alternates between presentations of the applicable requirements and practical examples.

  • Have a PC with a microphone, a webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: background screens are available on Zoom or Teams to blur or hide the rear view.
  • Have a good Internet connection, to be tested before the session.
  • Be installed in a quiet, isolated place ; set yourself to “unavailable” status on Teams ; close your email access, and mute your phone, so as not to be disturbed during the session.
  • Participants from the same organization should not be grouped together in the same room, but each at his/ her own desk, to avoid any side discussions during the session. Virtual sub-groups will be specially created for the exercises, which will also enable mixed groups.
  • Remote qualification/certification exams must be taken with camera and microphone open. We may also need to check that you are alone in the room.
  • Please connect 5 minutes before the start of the session.
