Description

Your company operates a Quality Management System based on the process approach defined by the EN 9110 standard.
You would like to train new “first-party” internal auditors and new “second-party” supplier auditors.

  • Be able to prepare, conduct and close an audit in accordance with the requirements of ISO 19011 and EN9101.
  • Be able to carry out an audit of the effectiveness of the management system built in accordance with EN 9100.
  • Be able to identify areas for improvement.

Any member of management wishing to become an internal and supplier quality auditor in the context of EN 9110.

  • The teaching methods used are fun and varied, enabling students to master the profession of system auditor by process in accordance with the requirements of the standard.
  • The methodology for conducting system audits (CAPDo®) is taught through a combination of practical sessions and hands-on application to real-life aeronautical maintenance cases.

Knowledge test (Multi Choice Questions)

Participant file containing the training material and exercises. Training materials in digital format are made available to trainees a few days before the course.

  • Have a PC with a microphone, a webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: background screens are available on Zoom or Teams to blur or hide the rear view.
  • Have a good Internet connection, to be tested before the session.
  • Be installed in a quiet, isolated place; set yourself to “unavailable” status on Teams; close your email access, and mute your phone, so as not to be disturbed during the session.
  • Participants from the same organization should not be grouped together in the same room, but each at his/ her own desk, to avoid any side discussions during the session. Virtual sub-groups will be specially created for the exercises, which will also enable mixed groups.
  • Remote qualification/certification exams must be taken with webcam and microphone open. We may also need to check that you are alone in the room.
  • Please connect 5 minutes before the start of the session.

  1. Reminders about the process approach:
    • Customer focus.
    • The difference between processes and organisation.
    • The three families of processes.
    • Map analysis.
    • List of initial interview questions.

     

  2. Efficiency in the field of aircraft maintenance:
    • The IAQG strategy.
    • Different types of indicators.
    • List of questions on objectives and choice of indicators.
    • Tools and methods for facilitating and improving processes.
    • List of questions to ask process pilots.

     

  3. Links between EN 9110 and effectiveness:
    • Analysis of standard requirements for process effectiveness.
    • The definition of efficiency; PEAR support.
    • The message at the opening meeting.

     

  4. The risk approach and consideration of all requirements:
    • Risk control.
    • Consideration of normative, customer and regulatory requirements.
    • Links with new cross-functional requirements.
    • Application to a process.
    • List of questions to ask process drivers about taking requirements into account.

     

  5. Audit organisation:
    • The PDCA of auditing.
    • Building the audit plan according to CAPDo®.

     

  6. Writing up findings:
    • Defining non-conformities.
    • NCR support.
    • Drafting non-conformities.

     

  7. Step-by-step audit according to the CAPDo® methodology:
    • Analysis of the process to be audited.
    • Development of the audit plan.
    • Identification of the main risks and analysis of effectiveness.
    • Standard, customer, regulatory and internal requirements to be integrated.
    • Drafting the audit questionnaire.

     

  8. Conducting audits:
    • Conducting the audit with auditor/auditee role-plays and coaching from the facilitator on situations relating to the specific requirements of EN9110 applied in Aeronautical Maintenance Organisations:
      • Opening meeting, audit of the selected process using the questionnaire developed during the preparation phase, with analysis of the results and control of the identified risks.
    • Debriefing with the facilitator.

     

  9. Preparation of the report:
    • Write up non-conformities in the form of QMS failures.
    • Write a process audit report with an assessment of the effectiveness of the process.

     

  10. Appropriation of the operating procedures for the different phases of the audit.

     

  11. Follow-up of action plans.
