You want your managers to guarantee the strategic objectives achieved through Six Sigma projects and to fully understand their role as Six Sigma project champions:

• Upstream, to identify opportunities for Six Sigma projects, define the exact scope of each project in a formal charter, and identify the resources needed to ensure the success of Six Sigma projects.
• Throughout the project, to validate the transition from milestones to DMAIC steps, and to support the Six Sigma teams.
• Afterwards, to verify the sustainability of the results and identify other opportunities for related Six Sigma projects.

• Gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the Six Sigma methodology.

• Clarify your role in relation to the management committee and Six Sigma project teams.

• Learn how to identify and select Six Sigma projects that create high business value.

• Know how to define a Six Sigma project charter, including objectives, goals, resources, supports, and constraints.

• Be able to monitor, assess, and support teams throughout the execution of their Six Sigma projects.

• Learn how to conduct progress reviews with Six Sigma teams at each DMAIC milestone.

• Have a PC with a microphone, a webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: background screens are available on Zoom or Teams to blur or hide the rear view.
• Have a good Internet connection, to be tested before the session.
• Be installed in a quiet, isolated place; set yourself to “unavailable” status on Teams; close your email access, and mute your phone, so as not to be disturbed during the session.
• Participants from the same organization should not be grouped together in the same room, but each at his/ her own desk, to avoid any side discussions during the session. Virtual sub-groups will be specially created for the exercises, which will also enable mixed groups.
• Remote qualification/certification exams must be taken with webcam and microphone open. We may also need to check that you are alone in the room.
• Please connect 5 minutes before the start of the session.
