TRIGO BD Director, Pierre Fillion to participate at the Quality Competiveness Day

Organized by the French Vehicle Equipment Industries’ (FIEV), the Quality Competiveness Day is scheduled to take place on 25 June, 2014. The convention serves as a platform for players all along the automotive supply chain to learn the latest trends on production optimization and quality processes.
The Conference is to feature 7 workshops covering topics from process audits to actual ISO standards and modification managements during serial life. Pierre Fillion, TRIGO Group’s Business Development Director, member of the organization of FIEV, is to present the results of a workshop revolving around the Implementation of Best Practices to Facilitate Supplier Development. The workshop is aimed to advance towards a standardized strategy, which pushes TIER2 and TIER3 suppliers to get more involved in quality development processes.
“Corrective quality tools are essential to be implemented along the automotive supply chain, but the deployment of preventive actions is just as important. Improvements help optimize the QMS in each supplier’s organization, causing a more optimized and safer production on both the customer’s and the supplier’s assembly lines. To reach measurable successes, we need to persuade suppliers that the investments of quality improvements do return.” – summarized Pierre Fillion his upcoming speech.
