NATURE OF SERVICE
Assess the methodology of Managing Product Launches, create and implement the required changes and improvements in order to address the following Problem Statements:
- No lifecycle ownership of product
- No full Quality, Cost Delivery (QCD) ownership
- Roles and Responsibilities not clear
- Multiple production surprises
TARGET
- Improve KPI communication & escalation
- Controlled QCD. (not just reported)
- Faster issue response including new products
- Streamline process for repeat jobs
TASKS
- Create a process for full product delivery. From cradle-to-grave.
- Clarify responsibilities. All supporting functions – Including creation of “Project Teams”
- Clarify ownership of the product execution - Quality, Cost and delivery.
- Review & improve existing / create new if required: Tools, Methods and Controls to support the Project Team

- 1st project showed a + £50K saving to budget against being a historically a “loss leader project”
