Description

  • Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is often stated as a top priority for companies, and for good reason. Yet, beyond slogans and formal statements, practical OHS practices can differ widely between organizations, resulting in uneven outcomes in accident prevention that frequently fall short of expectations.

  • To tackle this, decision-makers are increasingly taking a pragmatic approach, sometimes guided by standards such as ISO 45001, to establish and maintain a strong, lasting OHS culture throughout their organizations.

  • This training program equips participants with the key tools and insights needed to understand and implement an effective and sustainable OHS culture.

  • Understand the issues involved in implementing an occupational health and safety culture in your company.
  • Identify the regulatory and standards framework for occupational health and safety.
  • Understand and implement the 9 pillars of an Occupational Health and Safety Culture, so as to aim for excellence in terms of OHS performance (with the ultimate aim of achieving and sustaining “0” Accidents).
  • Draw up an “OHS Road Map” adapted to your context, to develop and anchor an occupational health and safety culture within your company.
  • Managers and executive committee members who want to foster an OHS culture.
  • QHSE and HSE managers.
  • Any department or process leader seeking to establish a culture of occupational health and safety within their team or process.

Throughout the course, participants take part in group activities directly linked to their operational concerns. Numerous exchanges and consolidation of work (including after in-house implementation) promote the appropriation of shared concepts, tools and best practices. The simplicity and logic of the common thread used throughout the course ensure that participants really grasp the issues involved in developing an occupational health and safety culture.

In particular, the pedagogical approach adopted consists in discovering and integrating, step by step, each of the 9 pillars of an Occupational Health and Safety Culture; this is to facilitate the appropriation of these pillars in one’s own context.

For in-house, training can also be customized to meet the specific needs, difficulties and OHS challenges of your company.
